What is Presentations Academy?

Presentations Academy is focused on learning, acquiring and mastering presentations excellence.

Presentations Academy came out of my research in not only presentations skills but also other skills which may not seem to be related to presentations. I realized that the skill of presenting itself can be looked at as a collection of different skills. These other skills includes:

I went to look for the latest and cutting edge thinking on these disciplines and then went through a process of figuring out how I can use it in the context of presenting.

I also studied and observed the great speakers and presenters to discover what they do and how they do it. I tried things out in my own presentations. Some work very well while other less so. Who is the trainer?

I have trained and spoken for the last seven years and have conducted more than two hundred training sessions. Read more about me in my About page.

I developed Presentations Academy to share what I learn about presenting and speaking in public.
I devote a lot of my time on conducting training and developing new training concepts and methods in the subjects that I specialize which includes presenting and communicating, leadership, teambuilding and coaching.

I strongly believe and commit to the vision that anyone in the world should have access to high quality training and coaching. At this moment, I am very involved in making my training workshops more accessible such as:

Though deriving an income is important to me, I have committed myself to ensuring that some of the content is free to the public. I estimate that it will take my team and me about three years to meet this vision.
I live in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and I dedicate my free time towards the triathlon and photography.

I am pleased to announce the creation of Presentations Academy, which is the centre for presentations training developed by me. Being able to deliver presentations which are engaging and beneficial to the audience is one of my main objectives as a trainer. 5 years ago I developed a presentations training workshop called ‘Me And My Presentations’ which received very good feedback from my participants. I wanted to take my presentations training to the next level and have developed frameworks, roadmaps, strategies, tools and tips on presentations. I bring in concepts from many different disciplines including acting, singing, graphic design, drawing and even sports and athletics.

Presentations Academy

Presentations Academy is an entity I created which focuses on learning, acquiring and mastering presentations excellence. Presentations Academy’s vision is very simple. We want to help and support you learn the skills of presenting and become a better presenter, maybe even an exceptional one.
To do that I know I had to create something radical and something different. A training so powerful and so well put together that anyone, and I mean anyone, can go through our programs and emerge as a presenter way beyond what they ever thought they were capable of being.
Our claim to being the ultimate presentations training experience is based on the philosophy that I created for myself which is captured in the phrase,
‘Success is a skill and any skill can be mastered’.
With that in mind, I immersed myself in the skill of presenting and read as many books and attended as many workshops I can find on the subject of presenting. I found that the content is almost always the same. Everyone was looking at presentations in the same way. Turn to any table of content in books on presenting or read any course content of workshops and seminar, you will find that they are almost the same. As valuable as they were to me, I knew Presentations Academy had to come up with something different.
The search took a long time until I realised that the skill of presenting itself can be looked at as a collection of different skills. If I took efforts to learn these different skills and find a way to combine them into a well structured system, then it becomes something powerful and compelling.
